his return from Austria ....
Holiday finished! We returned recently from that earthly paradise that is the Austria ... wow how much I liked it!
Innsbruck is a small but very quiet, you can run very quietly in the car because there is no traffic! And then that kind that are the Tyrolean!
I figured they were a people along the lines of the Germans, but I realized that mentality and ways of life quite different ...
Or, at least, between East Germans and Austrians much difference ... in West Germany feels less the separation of culture.
Salzburg is a truly fascinating city, (perĂ².. That traffic! I would say worse than Milan, where I believe) just wander into the Altstadt (old town) and you will see a lot of squares, churches, castles, landscapes you will not forget again!!
I still find time to download the photos as soon as I do, I'll put some of the most important images above.
If any of you going to spend a few days in Salzburg, I suggest you stay at the Gasthof Schorn ... a traditional pension, and accurate, with spacious rooms very modern and clean!
If you wish to taste some dish I can warmly recommend to try the Wiener schnitzel (a kind of Milanese you need or with chips or potatoes with parsley sauce with the addition of some typical) and Gebackene Huhnerflugel (there were two umlaut but I can not put them .. sorry!) which are fried chicken wings you need with a mixed salad and a dressing for salad.
We believe that it is full of tourists, Italians, Austrians speak Italian very well, so if you do not speak a word of Kraut .. no problem! I understand the same: D. In addition, you'll find anywhere Italian restaurants where you can taste a decent pizza.
The best I've found is the Pizzeria Rossini Grodig (or with the umlaut), which has the rare wood-burning oven!
As for things not to miss, I suggest you get on Monchsberg altstadt in and visit the castle (an old military fort) Hohen Salzburg.
Worth a look at Mozart's house and a trip through the streets of the Old Town .....
For those interested ... you know where to find me: D
